Go Global with Hong Kong Retail: Platforms, Finance & Playbook

Hong Kong retailers and brand owners are increasingly looking beyond the local market for growth in Mainland China, Southeast Asia and other international markets. Cross-border marketplaces, logistics networks, payment infrastructure and digital tools have matured to the point where SMEs can now test and scale overseas opportunities from Hong Kong more realistically.

Organised by the Hong Kong Retail Management Association (HKRMA), Go Global with Hong Kong Retail: Platforms, Finance & Playbook is designed as a practical half-day forum for retail leaders who want a clearer view of the platforms, financial services and operating playbooks needed for international expansion.

  • JD.com: Cross-border supply chains, warehouse infrastructure, customer positioning and major shopping festivals such as 618.
  • Shopee: Reaching Southeast Asian and Taiwanese shoppers, localising product mix and pricing, and developing a 90-day launch plan.
  • Shopline: Multi-market and multilingual storefronts, local payments and logistics, and first-party data for sustainable growth.
  • LiveABC: Brand-owned livestreaming and collaboration with overseas micro-influencers.

Finance, operations and support
